Richard O. “Dick” Jones,
Dick Jones Picture Co Collection
1930-1970
Throughout the 1930s and 1940s Richard O. Jones , a friend of
Charlie’s, produced catalogs advertising Russell prints. First with
the Como Company in Great Falls and then with his own
company in Huntington Beach, California. Jones sold more
Russell prints than any other vendor in the United States,
thereby playing a big role in the continuing and expanding
appreciation of Russell’s work.
