gallery catalogs, periodicals, prints and ephemera.
• 200+ books and magazines written about or illustrated by
Russell during his lifetime
• Includes two 50+ year collection of 700 items recently acquired
by Harrison from renowned art and rare book collector A.P.
Hays, owner of Arizona West Galleries of Scottsdale, Arizona.
The Hays Collection contained over 12 linear feet of burgeoning
bookshelves. Also acquired was the William C. “Bill” Foxley
Collection of 80 vintage books.
• Currently, there are five volumes totaling approximately 3500
digital pages, with an estimated 90-95% of all of the individual
Russell artworks published from books, magazines, and
periodicals during his lifetime and comprised solely of the
Harrison Collection.
