• 46 years in the making by Craig D. Harrison, starting at age 20,
with the purchase of a dozen Russell prints.
• The collection measures over 100 linear feet and contains
nearly 4,000 Russell-oriented books, gallery catalogs,
periodicals, prints and ephemera exceeding 260,000 pages.
• 80+ books and magazines written about or illustrated by Russell
during his lifetime
• Includes 50-year collection recently acquired by Harrison from
renowned art and rare book collector A.P. Hays, owner of
Arizona West Galleries of Scottsdale, Arizona. The Hays
Collection contained over 12 linear feet of burgeoning
bookshelves.
• Currently, two additional Collection Showcases are being
compiled as four volumes totaling approximately 1400 pages,
with an estimated 90-95% of all of the individual Russell
artworks published from books, magazines, and periodicals
during his lifetime and comprised solely of the Harrison
Collection.
